Uncle Charlie - Home

My role in the crew:
I help lead the crazy-cool motions with Hannah Lee and Laura Ann! I also throw some pretty fantastic ventriloquism and puppetry in there...you know - chillin with my foamies.

I currently live in a big blue house out in the boondocks of Weatherford, TX

I graduated from high school this year and I am currently blessed to be livin' the dream God's given me - traveling and spreadin' the love and joy of Jesus like peanut buttah, babeh.

I attend Real Family Fellowship, and my responsibilities include working in children's church, leading praise and worship there every other week, singing with the praise team in big church on my off weeks, teaching 2 & 3 year olds on Wednesday nights, being a member of and assistant directing Peculiar Party Ministry Team, being the best PK evah, and occasionally takin out the trash and replacing tp in the girl's bathroom.

Fun Facts About Maegan

Family Info:
I am blessed to be the oldest of 9 ridiculously attractive Bruce offspring. My parents are the best I've ever had and I love my family more than sunshine loves yellow.

Birthday:
The day after Jesus's! Oh come now...you do know Jesus's birthday, right?? I blow out candles on December 26th. But only if they're stuck in a cake. I like cake.

Home town:
Weatherford, TX! And I would say something about repping our mascot here...but being homeschoolers, we don't really have one. We do have a guinea pig though....GO GUINEA PIGS!

Stuff I Like:
Green grass, the sky (nighttime or daytime, I lalalove it and like to think God made it just for me 8] ) fresh fruit, laughs that make my tummy ache, being with my family, cucumbers, piano, jumping on trampolines, Converses (my purple hi-tops especially), drawing, reading a good book on a rainy day while listening to Jack Johnson, York patties and Junior Mints, finger painting, classical music, flannel shirts, shootin' pictures with my Canon, dancin' like the white girl I izz, bright colors, meeting and gettin' to talk to kids (and big people are okay too, I guess), roller blading, thrift stores, randomly breaking out into song, comfy blue jeans, baby giggles, and talking to my Daddy Jesus.

Stuff I don’t like:
Dusting, onions, intensely cold weather, trying to make up my mind on favorites for questions like THESE RIGHT HERE (I just like too much stuff, doggone it), sushi (try as I might, I just can't stomach the stuff...I'm more of a fried chicken and mashed potatoes kinda girl, I guess), being sick (and if you like being sick, you're pretty much just weird), and when people say "LOL" and don't follow through; if you tell me you're LOL-ing...you'd better be laughing out loud.

Favorite Christian songs:
The More I Seek You by CFNI, Times by Tenth Avenue North, Let Your Light Shine by Hillsong Kids, and actually pretty much just too many to list. I love music and I think it's one of God's best gifts...I like to think of it as a soundtrack to the life of me. 8]

Favorite Bible Character besides Jesus:
It's hard for me to pick one...there's so much we can learn from all of them! But a favorite is Esther - she was just your average girl who ended up saving a nation, all because she wasn't afraid to say yes to the destiny God had planned for her.

Favorite Bible verses (I couldn't decide on just one!):
Philippians 2:14-16

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life—in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing.

1 Timothy 4:12

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Favorite books besides Bible:
Passion and Purity by Elisabeth Elliot, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, Quo Vadis by Henryk Sienkiewicz, Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers, Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis, Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting by Derek Prince, The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch and The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister

People I admire:
My momma and daddy, our founding fathers (Peeps like George Washington and John Adams), and anybody who forsakes the world and lives to be who God has called them to be. The people I admire are the ones who shine brightly in dark places. People like that change the world.

Little known facts about me:
I like to read things backwards, I can do really cool stuff with my arms and fingers, I'm a packrat, I cut my own hair, I'm clumsy (Really, I'm ridiculously good at hurting myself. Trip over my own feet? Yeah, I can do that. Skillz, dawg...skillz.), I have sesquipedalian tendencies (ses·qui·pe·da·li·an: "given to using long words") , I acted in a film/movie called "The Kindness of Strangers" when I was 10, I like peppermint in my hot chocolate, and I was born with 7 toes on my left foot. (Just kidding...but I do have weird toes.)
